Dear St. Anselm School Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education and faith-formation. We are hard at work preparing an amazing year for your child(ren) and the rest of our school family. Have you heard? The news that Catholic school families have been praying to hear for years has finally come to fruition! The faith-filled, high-quality, community encompassed education you’ve come to know during your time at St. Anselm School is now more affordable than ever! The recent legislation signed by the governor of Ohio entitles every family in our school to receive a generous state awarded scholarship on a sliding scale covering an amount up to the full tuition cost.
Why is this exciting for your family?
This is great news for every family in our school! You are already qualified for a guaranteed scholarship just by living in Ohio! Every family who applies for EdChoice Expansion will receive a scholarship for each of their children. 75% of Ohio families qualify for a full scholarship, which means there will be free tuition for many of our school families. As is seen in the attached eligibility chart, the other 25% of families will still qualify for a substantial scholarship through the state. Here at St. Anselm, due to the generosity of donations to funds such as the Angel Fund Scholarship, we will cover even more of the tuition cost and can ensure every Spartan Family who applies for EdChoice Expansion will pay less than the advertised tuition amount announced this past spring.
What’s the catch?
There are a few steps that need to be taken to apply. Families may choose to work through these simple steps on their own at home. If questions arise, or you would like assistance, Mrs. Rose, Mrs. Zimmerman, and members of the Parish Staff and Finance Council will be trained and are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to sit with your family to help you through the process. The scholarships will positively impact our entire community, and we are ready to help you, help others!
Are there any benefits to this besides financial assistance?
The time taken to apply is well worth all the benefits to your family and our school. The more families who apply, the more funds are available to St. Anselm. Teachers and staff will have more resources available to take your child’s education to the next level. This is a great way to show appreciation to the amazing teachers and staff who have made sacrifices themselves to educate our children in the Catholic Faith. They work daily with the students to remind them that our job here on Earth is to get ourselves and everyone around us to Heaven. The simple sacrifice of moments of your time applying will directly impact not only your child’s future, but the future of generations of students to walk through our doors. Help us make the faith-filled legacy of St. Anselm School stronger than ever!
Thank you, for doing your part to ensure a Christ-Centered Education for every child in our community. We are so excited to see all the opportunities these changes will make possible for our students! Please see below and follow the steps to apply for EdChoice Expansion. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have during this process. Know of our prayers for your family, and please share this exciting news with anyone who may be interested in St. Anselm School. We are ready to welcome new Spartans!
God Bless,
Mrs. Therese Rose, Principal of St. Anselm School
Fr. Christopher Cox, Administrator of St. Anselm Church
Tuition for the 2023-2024 is $6,165 per child. Please reference the chart below to see the scholarship amount your children will receive based on your adjusted gross income. Know that we at St. Anselm will work to use all other funds available to cover as much of the additional amount as possible. We guarantee that the final family tuition obligation for those who apply for EdChoice Expansion will be lower than the previous tuition agreement through state and parish scholarships.
