Many people have time to help out on parish projects on an occasional basis. Anselm Angels assist with making phone calls, with preparing mailings and with assembling special projects as needed.
This group provides for the athletic needs of parish children through participation in various CYO athletic programs of the Diocese of Cleveland. CYO endeavors to help young people be more Christ-like in the way they live and interact with others. The young person, not the athletic activity is the focus of CYO athletics. The mission is to provide an opportunity for as many eligible young people as possible to experience spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional growth through participation in CYO athletics. Sports offered at Saint Anselm include volleyball, basketball and track. Foootball, cross country, baseball and softball are offered thorugh adjoing parishes.
All are welcome every Sunday to share coffee, donuts and conversation after 8:00 AM and 9:30 Masses in Kelly Hall in the school building.
This group meets monthly to prepare parish communication including the bulletin and website.
Auctions, dinner and dancing in a festive setting make this annual event an enjoyable social evening.
Girls experience a values-based program to help them become confident, resourceful, responsible young women. There is a twice a month meeting with girls after school. The Service Unit meets monthly. Training is available through Girl Scout Council.
Men and women provide job assistance including painting at the parish.
This group promotes spiritual and temporal welfare of our children and helps with the financial needs of the school. Meetings are held once a month and sub-committee meetings are held as needed.
Women of the parish grow spiritually, serve the community through charitable projects and provide a social climate for making friends within the parish community. The women host and volunteer at the Christmas Boutique, Communion Breakfast, meetings and retreats.
Members get together for socials, education and entertainment. This non-denominational organization is open to all people 55 years or older who pay annual dues. The organization meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.
