    Year of Mercy
The works of mercy are scripture based charitable actions by which we come to the aid of our neighbors in their spiritual and bodily necessities - Catechism of the Catholic Church.  Each month during the Year of Mercy, Saint Anselm Parish focuses on a Spiritual or Corporal Work of Mercy.
January: Correct the sinner, Be patient with those in error ~ Always we seeking wisdom ourselves, we advise someone who is struggling to understand their misbehavior.  While we attempt to correct those in error, we also refrain from judgment. As Pope Francis says: "Who am I to judge?" We love our enemies and are good to those who persecute us.
